This is a visible leadership role with responsibility for controls, reporting, and audit in a fast paced, complex, leasing based environment.Job DescriptionReporting directly into the local leadership and SVP of Finance, with a dotted line into the functional accounting leadership overseas this role's main duties and responsibilities include the following:Own the full month end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reportingPrepare and review accruals, prepayments, and journal entriesMaintain ownership of balance sheet, bank, and intercompany reconciliationsProduce weekly, monthly, and annual cash flow forecastsOversee payroll accounting, reconciliations, and related processesServe as the primary accounting contact for internal and external auditsLead the year end audit process and preparation of statutory accountsCoordinate tax compliance activities with external advisorsOversee transaction processing and controls within a large ERP environmentEstablish and maintain strong accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsPartner with cross functional stakeholders across finance, operations, development, and leasing.This is a HYBRID role between in-office 3 days/ week (Elmont, NY) and 1 to 2 days/ week REMOTE.This opportunity is retained and exclusive to Michael Page Boston.
