Job Description

  • Manage institutional relationships with Korean pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurers, asset managers, and distributor platforms.
  • Drive business development efforts across private credit, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and hedge fund strategies.
  • Coordinate and execute RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and proposal submissions for large Korean allocators.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, catch‑ups, and relationship‑building engagements to deepen strategic partnerships.
  • Present investment strategies, performance updates, and market insights tailored to institutional client needs.
  • Collaborate with investment, product, legal, compliance, and operations teams to deliver seamless client servicing.
  • Support fundraising campaigns, pipeline management, and capital‑raising activities across multi‑asset alternative strategies.
  • Monitor investor portfolio allocations, investment themes, and competitive landscape within the Korea institutional market.
  • Organize due‑diligence meetings, manager visits, and onsite presentations for Korean investors.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reporting, and client intelligence to support regional business planning.

The Successful Applicant

  • Native or business‑fluent Korean language capability (spoken and written) required.
  • Strong English communication skills for cross‑border collaboration and international client engagement.
  • Solid experience in institutional sales or distribution within asset management, private markets, or investment banking.
  • Deep understanding of private credit, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and hedge fund strategies.
  • Proven track record working with Korean pension funds, insurers, sovereign entities, and other institutional allocators.
  • Demonstrated ability to run sales processes, manage complex RFPs, and coordinate multi‑team deliverables.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
  • Ability to navigate Korean regulatory, operational, and investment‑due‑diligence requirements.
  • Highly organized with strong project management, CRM usage, and pipeline‑tracking capabilities.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of working in a global, fast‑paced, and matrixed environment
