Job Description

  • Working as part of a tight regional leadership team to guide the business through a period of transformation.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership for decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function to support business growth and strategic goals.
  • Oversee budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Drive initiatives to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and develop the Accounting & Finance team to achieve departmental objectives.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Finance Director should have:

  • Extensive experience in financial management within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry or a related sector.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in achieving financial objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Expertise in financial systems, compliance, and reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
