Job Description



  • Strategic Communications Leadership
    Develop and execute integrated communication strategies to enhance brand reputation and support business objectives across private equity, real estate, and hedge fund divisions.


  • Media Relations Management
    Build and maintain strong relationships with financial and trade media; manage proactive and reactive media engagement, including press releases and interviews.


  • Brand Positioning & Messaging
    Define and maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels, ensuring alignment with the firm's investment philosophy and values.


  • Marketing Campaign Oversight
    Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, events) to promote investment products and thought leadership content.


  • Crisis & Issues Management
    Develop and implement crisis communication plans to protect the firm's reputation during sensitive situations.


  • Content Strategy & Thought Leadership
    Oversee creation of high-quality content (white papers, reports, social media) to position the firm as an industry leader.


  • Investor & Stakeholder Communications
    Partner with Investor Relations to craft clear, compliant messaging for investors, regulators, and other stakeholders.


  • Internal Communications
    Drive internal engagement through newsletters, intranet updates, and leadership messaging to align employees with corporate goals.


  • Event & Sponsorship Management
    Plan and execute investor conferences, media briefings, and sponsorship initiatives to strengthen brand visibility.


  • Analytics & Performance Reporting
    Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication and marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies.



The Successful Applicant

  • Experience: 10-15 years in corporate communications, branding, or marketing within financial services or investment management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field; MBA or Master's preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of private equity, real estate investment, and hedge fund sectors.
  • Media Expertise: Proven track record in managing relationships with top-tier financial media and handling press inquiries.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term communication strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Crisis Management Skills: Experience in handling sensitive issues and mitigating reputational risks.
  • Digital Marketing Proficiency: Knowledge of SEO, social media strategy, and digital analytics tools.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with compliance requirements in financial communications and marketing.
