The client is a relevant player in the food manufacturing space. Owned by a leading Private Equity fund, the company is well positioned to capture the expected market growth and to pursue an active M&A strategy.

Job Description

  • Lead the financial strategy and build a structured, scalable Finance & Administration function.
  • Implement governance, financial planning, reporting, and management-control systems aligned with PE backed requirements.
  • Manage ongoing communication with the private equity fund, including KPIs, reporting packages, budgeting, and industrial plan updates.
  • Strengthen administrative and accounting processes, implementing digital tools and standardised procedures.
  • Support commercial expansion, pricing, margin analysis, and contract management for the industrial channel.
  • Oversee treasury, cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
  • Manage procurement activities, particularly around raw material cost control and risk management.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, capacity expansion projects, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Lead M&A activities including scouting, financial analysis, due diligence, and integration.
  • Guide the organisational transformation toward a more data driven and managerial culture, while developing and mentoring the Finance team.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience as a CFO within manufacturing driven food & beverage companies.
  • Background in PE backed environments, with familiarity in governance, KPIs, and value creation processes.
  • Solid track record building or restructuring finance functions in growing or partially unstructured organisations.
  • Strong hands on attitude combined with strategic vision, resilience, and operational execution capability.
  • Experience in companies ranging €80-150M revenue and in contexts of rapid scaling.
  • Knowledge of supply chain, purchasing, and raw material management, preferably agricultural commodities.
  • Ability to interface with corporate/industrial clients and understand B2B commercial dynamics.
  • Mature and collaborative leadership style suited to a transition from founder led to managerial structures.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong familiarity with ERP/BI systems, and fluent English proficiency.
