Job Description

They're seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer, representing a unique opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a scaling organization while driving value creation in a PE-backed environment. As CFO, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team partnering closely with the CEO and Private Equity stakeholders.

  • Accountable for all financial aspects across Business & Finance Control, Accounting, financial audit, legal & compliance.
  • Provide clear financial strategy, budget management and investment approval
  • Act as a sparring partner to the CEO, leadership team, and Private Equity investors
  • M&A and Integration: lead post-merger integration, with a strong focus on systems, processes, and financial alignment
  • Oversee ERP harmonization, supporting the transition toward a fully integrated environment

The Successful Applicant

A proven track record within an international financial leadership position, furthermore:

  • Master's degree in Business Economics or similar
  • Experience with M&A (acquisitions and post-acquisition integration)
  • Experience in high-growth environments and recurring revenue models (MRR / ARR) is a must
  • Background in IT / software / digital / consulting / professional services
  • Experience with ERP systems, including SAP, SAP S/4HANA, ERP implementation or onboarding of new tools
  • Experience with local GAAP (Belgium and Netherlands)
  • Experience interacting with banks and PE organization
