Job Description

Chief of Staff responsibilities:

  • Support the executive team in setting and executing strategic goals within the banking & financial services department.
  • Oversee key operational processes to ensure efficiency and alignment with organisational objectives.#
  • Assist with modernising the bank.
  • Utilise some of the current groups technology to improve technology offering.
  • Establish structure around transformation delivery.
  • Identify efficiencies in the technology.
  • Identify where technology can be utilised more effectively.
  • improving offerings to the customer in terms of digital experience and product offerings
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Act as a key liaison between senior leadership and other departments to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyse business performance and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making.
  • Manage high-level administrative tasks and prioritise executive schedules effectively.
  • Maintain confidentiality and act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Chief of Staff should have:

  • Strong knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly within banking.
  • Proven experience in supporting executive-level leadership.
  • Experience shaping and delivering enterprise wide strategic change.
  • Strong experience identifying and driving technology efficiencies and improvements.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and present actionable insights clearly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • High levels of discretion and professionalism.
