It is recognised for its commitment to fostering innovation and delivering excellence in its field.Job DescriptionReporting to the Chief R&D Officer, this role ensures seamless progression of drug candidates from preclinical stages through IND-enabling studies and early-phase clinical trials.Support IND preparation for both CDE, FDA and other marketsLead and manage Translational and Clinical research programs in line with organisational goals - focus on CancerDevelop and implement research strategies to support product development and innovation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of research and business objectives.Oversee data analysis and reporting to drive decision-making processes.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all research activities.Provide leadership and mentorship to the research team to achieve optimal performance.Identify and foster partnerships with external stakeholders to enhance research capabilities.Stay updated with advancements in the life sciences field and incorporate relevant innovations.The Successful ApplicantMD, PhD or MD in a relevant biomedical discipline; board certification in oncology preferred.Minimum 10 years' experience in biotech/pharma/CRO, with at least 8 years in oncology drug development and early clinical trials.Proven track record in IND-enabling studies, clinical trial design, and regulatory submissions.Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to mentor and develop scientific talent.Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence across functions and geographies.Fluent in English and Mandarin is preferredWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from HKD 1800000 to HKD 2200000.Permanent position within a well-established organisationOpportunities to make a significant impact in the life sciences field.This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to advance their career in the booming Biotech ecosystem in Hong Kong.
