This role will lead a team of ~12-15 across sales, merchandising, and product/production, responsible for shaping strategy, optimizing assortment, and strengthening retail partnerships. This role offers full ownership of a multi-functional team and the opportunity to drive both revenue growth and margin expansion across key retail channels.

Job Description

  • Own and drive the overall P&L for the division, with a focus on profitable growth
  • Lead and develop a cross-functional team spanning sales, merchandising, and product
  • Manage and expand relationships with major retailers including Walmart, Target, Five Below, specialty, and off-price
  • Identify and execute opportunities to enter and scale within the Club channel (Costco, Sam's Club, BJ's)
  • Oversee a high-SKU product portfolio, driving SKU productivity, assortment optimization, and innovation
  • Partner cross-functionally to accelerate speed-to-market while maintaining margin discipline
  • Lead line reviews, joint business planning, and key account negotiations

The Successful Applicant

Experience selling and merchandising licensed products required.

  • Proven leadership experience in sales and/or merchandising within consumer products
  • Demonstrated ownership of a P&L, with accountability for revenue and margin performance
  • Strong experience working with major retail accounts (Walmart, Target, etc.)
  • Background in consumer electronics, accessories, or adjacent categories preferred
  • Experience managing large SKU assortments and complex product portfolios
  • Track record of driving profitable growth, not just top-line expansion
  • Exposure to Club retail strongly preferred
  • Strategic and hands-on leader who can operate at both executive and executional levels
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong cross-functional operator who can align teams around commercial outcomes
  • Data-driven with a sharp focus on margin, productivity, and retail performance
