Job Description

1. Lead & Manage a High‑Performing Sales Team
Provide strategic leadership to a team of three sales professionals, ensuring clear direction, strong execution discipline, and continuous skills development to drive revenue growth across institutional and multinational corporate clients.
2. Drive New Business Acquisition
Develop and execute sales strategies to win large, complex employee benefits mandates, leveraging deep market knowledge and an established senior‑level HR, reward, and procurement network across Hong Kong.
3. Own Key Client Relationships
Serve as the senior relationship lead for top institutional and MNC clients, delivering consultative advice on group medical, life, disability, wellness, and flexible benefits solutions tailored to diverse workforce needs.
4. Deliver Expert Employee Benefits Advisory
Act as a subject matter expert on the full suite of Hong Kong employee benefits programs, offering insights on pricing, plan design, market trends, and insurer capabilities to support clients' HR and reward strategies.
5. Ensure Operational Excellence & CRM Discipline
Enforce rigorous pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and CRM data discipline across the team to ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment with internal governance standards.
6. Collaborate Across a Matrix Environment
Partner seamlessly with underwriting, broking, compliance, marketing, and regional leadership teams to deliver integrated solutions and ensure the highest standards of service and execution.
7. Achieve and Exceed Revenue Targets
Own and deliver annual sales and retention targets through effective team coaching, pipeline acceleration, and strategic prioritization of high‑value opportunities.
8. Represent the Firm in the Market
Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, HR leadership forums, and insurer engagements to strengthen the firm's presence and deepen relationships with strategic stakeholders.
9. Guide Complex Renewal & Tender Processes
Oversee and support the team through complex renewals, RFP responses, benchmarking exercises, and insurer negotiations to secure competitive outcomes and maximize client satisfaction.
10. Uphold Regulatory & Licensing Standards
Maintain all relevant Hong Kong insurance intermediary licenses (Paper I, II, III preferred) and ensure the team adheres to the firm's compliance framework and all applicable regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • 10-15+ years of employee benefits brokerage or consulting sales experience in Hong Kong
  • Holder of Hong Kong insurance licenses (Paper I, II, III preferred)
  • Proven track record of winning large, complex new business, both individually and as a leader
  • Well-established network among HR, reward, and procurement leaders in Hong Kong
  • Strong experience operating within matrix structures; disciplined CRM usage
  • Deep technical knowledge of HK group medical, life, disability, wellness, and flex programs
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese
