Job Description

Plant Financial Management:

Own full-site P&L and cost center control; lead monthly close, variance analysis, and reporting activities in coordination with group finance.

Cost Accounting & Product Costing:

Ensure accurate product costing, standard cost updates, inventory valuation, and variance tracking (material usage, labor efficiency, yield, etc.).

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Lead site-level budget preparation and forecasts; provide visibility on actual vs forecast and support course correction as needed.

Supply Chain Finance Support:

Partner with Procurement, Logistics, and Operations teams to optimize working capital, improve cost-to-serve metrics, and evaluate sourcing strategies.

Global Collaboration:

Act as the local finance lead while supporting group-level initiatives related to supply chain transformation, capital investments, and productivity.

Capex Management:

Track capital expenditure projects, build business cases, and monitor returns on investment in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.

Internal Controls & Compliance:

Ensure proper financial controls, inventory reconciliation, compliance with group policies, and audit readiness.

ERP & Systems Expertise:

Leverage ERP and reporting tools to enhance data visibility, automate reporting, and support group consolidation.

Team Development & Leadership:

Manage and develop a small local finance team; foster a culture of accountability and operational partnership.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field (Master's or CPA/CMA a plus).
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, with at least 3+ years in a plant controller or supply chain finance leadership role.
  • Prior experience in a global food, beverage, or CPG business.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, and supply chain KPIs.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (mandatory).
  • Additional languages a plus.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel/data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work independently to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional teams in operations, logistics, and procurement.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on, proactive mindset and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
  • Reporting skills.
