Job Description

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Exchange Traded Derivatives / Futures Operations team, ensuring operations are efficient, compliant, and risk‑conscious.
  • Design and implement strategic and tactical initiatives to enhance efficiency, increase automation, and standardize processes.
  • Ensure strong governance practices, adherence to regulatory requirements, and robust risk management-including AML/ATF and sanctions compliance.
  • Build, mentor, and retain an inclusive, high‑performing team through coaching, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders and external clearing partners across other global regions.
  • Lead transformation projects and process enhancements to embed industry best practices and deliver an improved client experience.
  • Maintain strong supervisory controls, transparent risk reporting, and effective escalation frameworks.
  • Allocate resources and manage budgets to meet organizational goals and regulatory expectations.



The Successful Applicant

  • Leadership Experience: At least 10 years in senior operational roles within capital markets, with proven experience leading large teams and influencing executive‑level decisions.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivatives, clearing operations, and relevant regulatory environments. Experience with derivatives and FX operations is highly valuable.
  • Regulatory & Risk Knowledge: Strong understanding of wholesale banking operations, compliance obligations, and risk management practices.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to design and execute transformation initiatives, streamline processes, and leverage automation to reduce operational risk.
  • Relationship Management Skills: Strong ability to collaborate with senior internal partners and external clearing organizations across multiple regions.
  • Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to build standardized, efficient processes and use data analytics to drive risk reduction and performance improvements.
  • Change Leadership: Skilled at navigating complexity, driving cultural change, and cultivating an inclusive, high‑achievement work environment.
  • Core Capabilities: Strong organizational, communication, and decision‑making skills, paired with solid business judgment.
