Exciting opportunity for a Regional Finance Manager for Middle East/Africa (MEA). Position will be based at the Regional Johannesburg office. The role reports to the Global Head of FP&A, leading the MEA finance team and supporting the Regional GM. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is entrusted with delivering strategic financial leadership and overseeing the operational management of finance teams across multiple African regions, including South Africa and West Africa. This position is accountable for aligning financial strategies with the organisation's growth ambitions, while upholding exemplary standards of financial governance, optimising operational effectiveness, and managing risk prudently.
This position plays a vital role within the Finance Operations function across the EMEA region, with a particular emphasis on supporting local market needs and fostering collaboration throughout the broader area. The role involves overseeing the complete Record-to-Report (R2R) cycle and ensuring Finance Operations are actively engaged in major business, product, and sales projects to promote operational efficiency and maintain accurate financial reporting.
The CFO is accountable for overseeing all financial operations within the organisation. This includes monitoring cash flow, assessing financial strengths and weaknesses and managing the overall financial performance. You will ensure the development and execution of effective financial management, accounting, procurement, provisioning and internal control systems and processes for the department, whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legal regulations.
