Working as an extension of the client, Page Executive partnered with the firm’s internal talent acquisition team and existing leadership throughout the hiring process. Our team conducted weekly collaboration calls to have consistent check ins to confirm there was ongoing alignment on all searches. SourcingOur team started by mapping out top investment firms that operated similarly in terms of size, business location and investment strategy. The team then identified the talent within these companies, many of whom we were already in contact with having operated in the investment industry for 14 years. One of the main challenges in candidate generation was working with an early-stage firm without brand recognition. We overcame this by selling to candidates the firm’s mission as a growth driver and painting a picture of the future.AssessmentConsidering the new executive team would be collaborating cross-culturally and across time zones to grow the investment firm, candidates for the roles had to display strategic vision, a ‘startup mindset’ and a ‘roll-up-your-sleeves’ attitude. They also needed to have a track record of effectively managing teams, navigating complex investment landscapes and thriving in a dynamic environment. Through video calls and initial screens, we assessed for these skillsets in addition to functional expertise.
