Francisco Pastrana, known to clients and colleagues as Achi, is a Page Executive Associate Principal covering profiles including senior leadership, board, HR, and financial management across Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.

Achi has always been driven by a challenge. From his early days in recruitment in 2003, he rose through the ranks, soaking up experience in the security and food production industries. Subsequently, Achi broadened his hiring skills as a cross-sector consultant before switching career paths to become a full-time rugby referee and referee manager. 

At Page Executive, we were delighted to welcome Achi back to the world of recruitment in May 2023. A valued member of a dynamic team, he exudes an infectious energy and passion whether dealing with clients, candidates or colleagues. The far-reaching international exposure he gained early in his career has allowed him to take on a diverse range of assignments now. Working in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, he spans the financial services, tech, energy and resources sectors. 

In addition to his innate ability to connect on a personal level, Achi has a refined instinct for understanding a company’s organisational needs. This is the starting point for his assignments before he enhances the initial brief with his executive search insights and international experience. Clients highly value Achi’s transparency throughout the entire process and his honesty with the reality of a given situation. Out of the office, Francisco is a rugby fanatic. Having worked as a referee and a manager in the past, he isn’t fully out of the scrum, featuring on the coaching staff of a first-division club in Buenos Aires.
